THE BELMONT THEATRE’S POLICY FOR THE PREVENTION AND SPREAD OF COVID-19

The Belmont’s priority is the safety of our audience, volunteers and staff.  We have installed a
Bi-Polar Ionization System throughout the entire building which kills any germs in the air, including COVID-19.

The following additional safety measures are in place:
  • All audience members are given the option to wear a mask while inside the theatre.
  • Cleaning protocols are intensified and hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the building.
  • Touchless soap and paper towel dispensers are installed in every restroom.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in working together so that The Belmont Theatre can safely present live theatre!

Upcoming show

THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME

JUNE 16-18 & 22-25, 2023

A MUSICAL ON THE MAIN STAGE

Music by ALAN MENKEN
Lyrics by STEPHEN SCHWARTZ
Book by PETER PARNELL

Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney film
Originally developed by Disney Theatrical Productions

Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. The musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be “Out There,” observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful Romani woman, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy Esmeralda – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.

Reviews

In my humble opinion, Broadway worthy productions for a very low cost. Well done!
