Introducing our Camp Director

Sarah Greek

“From the very first moment I sat in a darkened auditorium and watched a talented director bring a piece of theater to life, I knew that was “home” for me. As a homeschool student earning a Performing Arts diploma I was able to design an entire high school education around creating and running a new community theater troupe. After high school I apprenticed with many working professionals in directing, choreographing, playwriting and theater design, working with theaters and schools throughout Central PA.

I developed and launched a myriad of educational theater programs for youth of all ages, igniting a sense of “home” on stage for other young people to share using performance skills, circus arts, vintage film, choreography and creative writing. I love nothing more than sharing the boards with other creative individuals and watching young artists find their love for theater as well. I currently share my creative life by being mom to two energetic boys, a part-time author, a Special Education Paraprofessional in the Red Lion Area School District, and Director/Choreographer for their high school musical program.

How exciting to join this historical theater as Director of The Belmont Summer Academy!”
